Spring Cone Crusher

Spring Cone Crusher  is one of the main types of primary crushers in a mine or ore processing plant. Spring Cone Crusher are designated in size either by the gape and mantle diameter or by the size of the receiving opening. Gyratory cone crushers can be used for primary or secondary crushing. The crushing action is caused by the closing of the gap between the mantle line (movable) mounted on the central vertical spindle and the concave liners (fixed) mounted on the main frame of the crusher. The gap is opened and closed by an eccentric on the bottom of the spindle that causes the central vertical spindle to gyrate. The vertical spindle is free to rotate around its own axis. The crusher illustrated is a suspended spindle type, meaning that the main shaft is suspended at the top and that the eccentric is mounted above the gear.

1. operation of cone crusher
1). Preperation before starting: do be fully prepared before strating,for example,follwing should be check in advance and then the crusher can be started: irons or minerals left
in crushing chamber,signals of electrical connecting device and meter device,size of discharge hole,oil level, oil temperature and locking device of adjust ring.
2). start and stop of the crusher: start the oil pump first,check and ensure that oil pressure,oil temperature and oil amount is within stipulated scope.Only 3-5minutes after oil pump start and ensures that everything is normal,and then it is ok to send crusher starting signal according to stipulation.Stop the feeder first,and then
stop the crusher,oil pump and belt conveyors one by one
only after minerals in crushing chamber be discharged completely.
2. maintenance of cone crusher
The operating workers should frequently check the feeding and discharging conditions when cone crusher runs normally. For the feeding there should not be too large size and for dishcarging the discharging size must be up to requests,or size of discharge hole should be adjusted.
Check various kinds of meters to ensure normal displaying,check main parts of the crusher to ensure they are not loosen;check dust-proof device and sound of crusher to ensure normal running.
